Use this page to find a healthcare professional. Remember if you choose a healthcare professional who we have an agreement with, they have agreed to only charge you the Discovery Health Rate for consultations and procedures, and we pay them directly and in full for these services.

Going to hospital
All members have access to private hospitals. We cover the costs of planned hospital admissions from your Hospital Benefit. There is no overall limit for hospitalisation.

Whenever your doctor plans a hospital admission for you, you must let us know 48 hours before you go to hospital.
What to do in an emergency
In an emergency, go straight to hospital. If you need medically equipped transport, call Discovery 911 on 0860 999 911. This line is managed by highly qualified emergency personnel who will send air or road emergency evacuation transport to you, depending on which is most appropriate in your area
