Kids Vitality Health Check
Book a Kids Vitality Health Check at a Vitality Wellness Network pharmacy.
The Kids Vitality Health Check is available for kids between two years and 18 years old.
During the Kids Vitality Health Check, the nurse will discuss any areas of concern to focus on. You'll also get a personalised feedback report after completing the assessment.
The Kids Vitality Health Check includes a Body Mass Index (BMI) measurement, blood pressure measurement, as well as a health behaviour and developmental questionnaire.
What you
NEED TO KNOW
- You can complete a Kids Vitality Health Check once a year for each child in a rolling 12 month period.
- Simply visit a Vitality Wellness Network pharmacy and pay R92.30 for the Kids Vitality Health Check.
- The cost of the Kids Vitality Health Check will be paid from risk for members on Discovery Health if the check is done at one of the pharmacies in the Vitality Wellness Network.
- Your child will soon be rewarded for completing the Vitality health check in the new Vitality Active Rewards programme for Kids. Once you've completed the assessment, the principal member can view the assessment feedback report on the website under the "Know Your Health" section.

- Take your Discovery Health membership card or proof of your Vitality membership and your child's ID number to a Vitality Wellness Network pharmacist.
